Ella dancing

After too many days spent only with adults, Ella lets loose in the park with people her own age. She danced her buns off at the family fun night in Chilliwack. Not sure about her taste in music though....

the trip so far.....

No pictures from the camera until Suds arrives because I forgot the cord in HK, but here are some pictures I have taken with my phone.

HUGE spider that terrorized me all day until Super Kevin came home and killed it. He put on a brave front but I know he must have been scared.

Ella's first successful 'face painting' experience at the Farmers Market in New West. We opted for the leg so she could see it.

Her first morning. It's about 9 am at this point!

Ella's First Haircut

In preparation for our trip to Vancouver, we took Ella for her first haircut.

Here are some (ok many) 'before' haircut shots

The hair salon had special seats for the kids, lots of toys and their own TV to watch cartoons on

Ella was mesmerized by Elmo on the TV

The stylist was FAST! She was a hair cutting machine!

After!

We took Ella and her new haircut to meet her favorite character, Buzz Lightyear

Some aliens were there, too.

Father's dessert surprise

This was to be the "Piece de Resistance" of Suds' Father's Day dinner. A dessert I had been planning on making for him forever.

But I think I was the one surprised when dessert turned out like this....total disaster!

Any takers on what is was SUPPOSED to be??

Ella loves Buzz Lightyear!

The water park was a huge hit again

Ella seeing how many stickers she can pry out of the nice Disneyland lady

You might ask why we always get our pictures with Goofy and Pluto. Well, nearby you can stand in a HUGE line for a photo with Mickey and Minney. Or you can wait 4 minutes for a photo with the dogs. No brainer.

Dish Washing is Dangerous!!

UPDATE!
Here's my hand with the bandages off. I had it cleaned and redressed. On Thursday I can remove the bandages for good. If all goes well I can get my hand wet this weekend.

Yesterday morning I was washing the dishes when a glass broke. Sadly my hand was IN the glass at the time.

I needed a quick trip to the Dr because the worst of the cut is right over the knuckle and we thought I might need a stitch so it would heal.

No stitch was needed but I did need to endure some horrific pain as they cleaned the wound. I was not brave.

Here I am ready to have a shower. I go back in 2 days for a check up. Hopefully I can post a picture of the cut healing well.
