Ella's favourite game

"Packing" seems to be Ella's favourite game these days. She carries a bag or container of some sort and fills it with "stuff".
And she does not like it if some one empty's her bag.
This poses a real problem for me because it is not always her stuff she packs!

Inside this bag she packed 10 fridge magnet letters, a ball, hand sanitizer, Strawberry Shortcake and Lemon Meringue, chocolate pudding, a book, several hair clips, a stacking ring, 5 small animals, a musical toy, a pair of socks, a spoon, and play kitchen cereal box.

Actually, written out like this, her selection doesn't seem so crazy.

Julia stomping in the puddles

making the bed

Ella was getting so frustrated making her bed in the mornings.
She would tug one corner into place but it wouldn't stay where she wanted when she pulled the next corner.
So being the smarty pants Mommy that I am, I attached colourful Velcro to the blanket and headboard corners to make it easier for her.

This morning was a big success!

Julia taking a nap at the park

taking her snack trap for a walk

I couldn't answer with 100% certainty if Julia loves me most, or her snack trap. (no those are not my cluttered stairs)

Julia is so cute. She is such a happy girl

Loving pasta and meatballs for dinner

Her playmate friends and their Aunties.
This wasn't even everyone! It was a full house.
They meet up a once or twice a week, rotating houses. I think word has spread that we have a sweet pad.....

Ella at DBIS

It was Green Week at Ella's school where the focus was on recycling ect. On Friday they were allowed to wear green to school instead of their uniforms.

A Princess Tea Party

Ella requested a Princess Tea Party for her and her friend Maddy.

I was more than happy to deliver.

Tea time snack is Fairy Bread (thank you Australia) which is bread spread with butter and generously sprinkled with Hundreds and Thousands sprinkles.

The 4 princesses (including the little sisters)

Cheers!!

Julia was a HUGE fan of the Fairy Bread!

She grabbed 2 handfuls of it, ran away from me and then jammed it all in her mouth :)

The neglected child

Poor Lexi hasn't made an appearance on the blog in quite some time.

Here are some recent shots of her catching some rays for all her friends who check the blog.

I'm looking at you Indie, Cinnamon, Molly, Salem, Marley, Maui and the other fluffy one, whatever your name is (sorry T-Pain).

Julia's ouchie

What are you hiding Julia?

Surprise!!!

Julia's big ouchie.
I'd say point goes to the sidewalk this round.

Julia was attempting to sit on the curb but lost her balance and tipped forward. She didn't get her hands out and her face slid along the sidewalk. There were tears, trust me!

Ella's trip to the dentist

We have been preparing Ella for her dentist trip for several weeks now. Each night before bed we talk about it as we brush and then read a book about a dental visit.

Clearly she is not convinced this will be a fun activity

The hygienist was great and made a balloon for Ella

That made it a little more tolerable

Practicing her "Aaaaahhhhh'sssss"

She was talked thru the whole thing and the the hygienist demonstrated that the tools she was using would make a little noise, but wouldn't hurt.

Ella was very brave and didn't kick up a fuss at all.
Yay Ella!!!

Julia enjoyed the balloon as well :)
