Xmas ect....

Heading to Vancouver HK airport had crafts for the kids.  Think the girls have enough supervision and help?

Immediately after landing in Vancouver we went to the Xmas fair downtown.  The only way I was able to wake up the monsters was with promises of hot chocolate.  Works every time.

At the light show in Stanley Park

I hosted Xmas dinner inviting over another couple and their kids.  They are Scottish and brought along a haggis starter.  I never thought I would try haggis, but this was my second time and it is really tasty.

One night in Macau

We didn't spend New Year's partying it up so we were fresh and lively for the 8am ferry leaving DB.  Then we caught the 9am ferry to Macau.  What a beautiful start to 2015.
We toured Ice World in the Venetian hotel, an ice sculpture exhibit based on Dreamworks movies.
Toothless, the Dragon from How to Train your Dragon
The ice slide was a big hit.
Our gondolier sang Let it Go from Frozen for us :)

Julia is striking a fierce pose.
We went to different hotel complex and had "Shrekfest".  A buffet breakfast with Dreamworks movie characters.  It was so much fun, we all really enjoyed it.

After checking out of the hotel we took a couple of pedi cabs.  The kids loved it!

Inspiration Lake and hotel

We rented a bike to go around the lake.  It was the first time I had pedaled on my own.  It was way harder than I thought!  After a picnic and some time at the playground, we headed to the nearby Disney Hollywood Hotel to check out the grounds.

There were a few display cars out.

At the end the girls were disappointed we weren't sleeping at the hotel and so was I.

Julia's unicorn 4th birthday party

Julia and Martha showing their 'best friends' necklace from Grandma Judy.

The My Little Pony and coloring station

 Unicorn plates and goblets

My totally awesome unicorn cake.  Can you see how glittery the horn is?

After the guests arrived we stopped taking pictures.  What were we thinking???  But it was fun, I promise :)
