Here are some more pics from the schools I teach at.

This is my Tuesday school. I brought in my picnic blanket and had pictures of food. The kids had to ask, 'May I have_____" and ask for the food.

I also made a paper ant and had the ant eat the food. It was really fun.

Wednesday's school. More drawings.

They were to draw their favorite food.
Most of them didn't draw anything until I started to draw stuff on the board. I thought kids were supposed to have an imagination?

By Jessie.

One of the few to come up with a food on her own. She likes jelly and water with green apples in it. Interesting.

Suds saw this sign is at the door to the House of Blues in Anaheim.
He did not eat anything.

Here is some artwork done recently by one of my K3 classes. The K3's are five and 6 years old.
In September these kids will graduate kindergarten and go on to primary school. They are easing into the adjustment by having to sit in desks and have longer classes now. I taught my first 55 minute class the other day. The class is twice as long so I now have time for more fun stuff like drawing.
This lesson I brought in Suds' hat from work. I explained that it was a captain's hat and you could be a captain of a plane, helicopter, ship, boat or ferry. At the end of class I asked then to draw a picture of what they want to be a captain of. Here are some of the best pics.

The kids have Chinese names as well as English names.

more fun in Hong Kong

The luxurious accommodation you get when you stay at Casa Sutherland

The Man Mo Temple. We lucked out and had a free private tour as well. Suds and I especially appreciated because we take visitors here but know nothing about it! Maybe we aren't great tour guides....

A photo op in Hong Kong Park

Lunch at Bubba Gump's at the Peak.

Dad's jewelry store

In Central heading towards the wet market

Fresh meat!

Street scene in Mong Kok

The view across the water in Aberdeen

We hired a lady and her boat to tour us around the harbor in Aberdeen

Her first mate was a Pekingese mix. He was SO cute!

The Jumbo Floating Restaurant. It has been closed lately for refurbishment. I was excited to see it re-opened on the 9th! Sadly the Top Deck Restaurant did not open until dinner :(

Mauritius

Water lilies at the Jardin du Pamplemousse.
This is a huge garden in Mauritius we took a tour of.

The classic photo. The garden is famous for the giant lily pads.

Giant tortoises!

The harbour in Grande Baie

Lunch in Grande Baie. The food was crap. Totally overcooked white fish. The kicker was that later that night we hooked up with about 15 other weddings guests and this place was where they decided to eat! We warned them but they did not listen.

Sega dance show at the Trou aux Biches resort. Similar to hula dancing. It is the local traditional dance.

Suds and I rented a car and toured the island. Our destination was Isle aux Cerfs because the postcards made it look so beautiful! A little bit of a let down, but still nice. We were desperate for some good snorkel ling but it was not to be had here either. This is a great place to go with a little boat full of your friends for a day playing on the beach and drinking some beers.

Mmmm! Rum punch in a baby pineapple!

The harbor in Port Louie.
