Ella goes to Playland

running around in the playhouse

The 'horsies' were by far Ella's favorite ride. She must have gone on them 5 times

When Ella started to get tired we bought some cotton candy. She got excited right away, probably because I was jumping up and down and clapping my hands yelling, "Cotton Candy! Cotton Candy!" She really liked the stuff :)

The train

Ella's first rollercoaster!!

Up they go!

The photo finish.
I campaigned hard to buy the extremely overpriced photo of her first rollercoaster, but we took a picture of the picture instead. Good thing, too. I forgot I had spent the last of our cash on a churro while they were in line LOL

Riding Ogopogo

Ella's football shoulders

Just before heading to bed the night before, these raccoons came to visit us. Few people know I am fluent in raccoon. I asked them in Raccoonese to leave. But as we were all snuggled in we heard them searching for food again.

This little girl drove Ella around the campsite about 50 times in her Barbie Escalade. It was so cool!

Next stop Paska Lake and the Friesen Family Reunion

Fort Langely

On BC Day we headed to Fort Langely for some BC history.

We learned all about the Hudson's Bay Company and fur trading in the West

There were also more goats for Ella to feed.

And some gold panning!

Vernon

We drove up to Vernon for a visit with Glenda and Dave. Andrew and Terri were there as well.

They have a gorgeous home
We figure our whole apartment is the same size as their back deck

The view from the front yard

The cutest little door from Wyatt's room into Brooklyn's

Wyatt was SO OVER sharing his trains with Ella
