2 days in Orlando, pre-cruise

**lots of posts so make sure to click on OLDER POSTS on bottom right of page to see everything**

Leaving Discovery Bay bright and early for our flight to NYC.  It was cold and rainy.

The flight started off well with seats in business class!  Yay!
Unfortunately, about halfway through the flight Ella started vomiting.  Ug.

After landing in NYC (and more vomiting from Ella) we missed one full flight to Orlando but thankfully got on the next one an hour later.

Our luggage went on the first flight and Disney picked it up for us and delivered it to our hotel.  How fantastic is that?  All we had to do was get on the Disney bus and check into our hotel.
We stayed the the Pop Century resort.  Each building is themed for a decade or era.  There were huge fun statues as well.

Early the next morning we caught the shuttle to the Disney Springs area, a shopping and restaurant zone.
Ella is studying volcanoes, tsunamis and earthquakes and was thrilled to see a restaurant with LAVA!
In front of the Lego store was Ogopogo made out of Lego!!
Next we were approached and asked if we wanted a free ride in an amphibian car.  Yes!!!  All we had to do was sign a waiver allowing the use of our photos in advertisements.  I said absolutely!

Afternoon swimming in the hotel pool.  It was chilly, brrrrr.
Next up was dinner at Medieval Times where we ate with our hands and cheered on our knight in jousting.

7 day cruise on the Disney Fantasy

 Pre-boarding.
The rest of the Sutherlands still haven't LANDED!  Will they make it in time????

  Our room, #7144 was fantastic.

Lunch on the deck of Cabanas.
 Checking out the Kids Club

They made it, 5 minutes before passenger cut off!  Can you believe it?

The Sail Away party on deck.  It was madness!!  Loud and hectic.

Our first night dinner.  After every dinner the girls ordered Mickey bars :)

 Day 2.
 Maxing and relaxing

Ella and Ainsley left a note on our door when they couldn't find us on deck.
We had 3 balcony rooms in a row and were able to open up the dividers between them, making one long balcony!

The rooms had "wave phones" that worked all over the ship.  Ella is calling me in this photo :)
Getting ready for formal dinner night.

Dancing with Pluto in one of the nightclubs

Every night there was a new towel creation waiting for us.
 Day 3 at sea

This morning we had a character breakfast.

Here you can see the "Aquaduck" waterslide that went around the deck.
Ella watching a movie and swimming at the same time; bliss.

The first 2 days were rather chilly so day 3 was very busy on deck with everyone finally getting some warm sun.
