 Wow.  Look at this mom.  Nice shoes to take your kids to school in.
You can't tell in the photos, but in real life she was about 6 1/2 feet tall and 2 inches wide.
She was a sight.

 I wouldn't say she was brimming with confidence beforehand.

But that was my fault.  We went to the wrong pool at first and subsequently were late to the race.  We missed her heat :(

But they let her swim in the next heat which was an age group above.

 So instead of swimming the width of two lanes, she swam and entire length!














Ella did so well!
