Here is a video of a lady wrapping up small fresh crabs for sale. These crabs are seasonal and only available September, October and November. They come from Southern China.

are those crabs ALIVE? as they sit for a week tied up?
Yes they are alive. Alive = fresh here in China. I don't think they do sit for a week, but they can survive that long. They sell rather quick because of the short season.
oh those poor creatures!!! it IS pretty neat how they tie them up ( why does it seem like i spelled tie wrong?!)
