Ella's big girl bed!

Last week I brought up the idea to Suds about converting Ella's crib into a bed. I felt that she was ready for one more Big Girl Challenge. My plan got vetoed big time!

What do you know, a few days later the little rascal learned how to escape from her crib. That was it. I was not going to stay awake nights worrying about her falling and breaking an arm. The side was coming off!

As you can see, Ella was quite excited!

We are on night 3 of her new bed and it is getting better. She loves her new found freedom very much!

The first morning in her new bed she woke up and got out all by herself. I discovered her in the hallway still half asleep. Nothing can match the look of amazement on her face...or mine probably!
