Gold Medal performance

On Saturday, Ella participated in her gymnastics club Friendly Meet.  Of course, since she won a gold medal it was a fierce competition that she rocked. Her score was 9.2 and it was judged by members of the Gymnastics Association of Hong Kong

The gold medal didn't impress Ella but she did like being the tallest :)

FIRST!!!

A funny thing happened while we were waiting for Disneyland to open....
A group of cast members came over and asked if we would like to be the first people into Disneyland that day.  Of course we said YES

We had no idea it was such an honour!  Here are all the cast members clapping and welcoming us

We were getting really embarrassed 

 

And then they gave the "entrance" lock and key to the girls to officially open the park for the day.

All the attention was really overwhelming

After opening the lock we said,
"Welcome to Hong Kong Disneyland.
3, 2, 1, OPEN!"

The males "sing" to attract females, and man! is it loud!

They are harmless but the feeling of them walking on you is creeeeeeepy.  Their legs have barbs and you can feel them latch onto you.

Toga Time

Today is a Red Letter Day!

In a time honored tradition, Daddy taught Ella how to ride her bike without training wheels.
