peng Chau festival
Killing some time before the ferry left for Peng Chau we biked along this pristine beach front (zoom in if possible)
The girls found a comfy seat to eat their snacks on
we found a shop where they make the costumes for the Lion Dancers
Next we stumbled upon some sort of religious festival in full swing. Here are some offerings laid out
Ella with a large god made from paper
all made from paper
tower of sweet bun offerings
inside the temple
coils of burning incense. I think these big ones can burn for a year before burning out!
group of people carrying paper replicas of bags and boxes of money to be offered up
paper offerings being burnt and sent to the gods
