September fun times
Part of the debris from the latest typhoon. Suds and the girls dragged the tree home and then decorated it :)
Julia and Martha at a birthday party
Hot weather plus massive pollution levels is not great mixture.
We were invited to Martha's house for a dinner celebration for her birthday. the theme was of course Frozen.
Julia getting a ride through the mall after dinner.
Hong Kong's newest attraction, a Ferris wheel in Central, opening soon!
Good thing I have a few extra copies. My copy is falling apart due to excessive use.
Ella loving her goody bag goodies.
Need I say more?

September fun stuff
Mid Autumn festival on the beach AKA Glowstick night!
Julia was exhausted and fell asleep in the wagon on the way home. Ella is pretending for the sake of a picture :)
Funky bathroom up on the 49th floor at Cafe Gray Delux. Very posh place for a cocktail
After school playing at Ella's school
Disney day with Mommy
Julia's friend Mia from school

International Picnic in Ella's Class
All the families were invited to prepare a picnic of food from their home country and eat it with their child today.
Our idea of a Canadian meal (that we would all eat) was salmon and potato salad.
Another Canadian family brought S'mores for dessert. I am definitely doing that next year!

A picture round up
Ella is taking gymnastics lessons at the Canadian International School in Hong Kong now. It is the first time we have visited the schools campus. I was amazed!!!
There were totem poles!
And a Canadian mural.
Julia and her friend Grace.
In Tung Chung there is a display of elephants to promote awareness for the plight of the Asian elephant.
Each elephant has been individually painted.
Of course Ella wants her picture taken with Every. Single. One.
I limited her to 4 on this trip.
My new most favourite picture of Julia. I just love it!
On Ella's first day they were in "pirate school". They were to design and create their own pirate hat
Julia and Martha and their babies.
A leftover from Vancouver. I quick play before we boarded the airplane back to Hong Kong.

An afternoon at Pui O beach
Digging for clams
The girls befriended a couple and donated all their clams to them. The couple loved them!!
Yes that is a person swimming with an umbrella behind them!
Any day that ends with a Popsicle is a good day!
Camping; Hong Kong style. Looks quite grim. And it was a nuclear hot day. I can't imagine tenting without cover.
