Um?
Yes.
So off I went with the girls.
The first night we spent in a hotel. The girls love hotels!
Dinner in our bathing suits
Morning spent on the beach. Which was more a public boat launch, but it did the trick.
Gathering beach stuff and making "castles" to take pictures of.
Getting our hair braided. Then it was a 2 hour car drive up to the mountain town of Ubud.
We were literally in the middle of a rice paddy field. Here is my taxi driver carrying our suitcase.
The path was treacherous and many people slipped into the the muddy trench
The veggie garden for the villa. We ate these eggplants on the last night.
An injured baby bird to cuddle.
A kitten nick named Sugar lived there too. The kitten lived through the weekend...the bird did not....
The neighbouring cow.
We stayed with 3 other families and all the kids had a ball!
Eating gangnam Style ice cream (??)
Mary had organized a Balinese band and dance troop to come perform for her birthday. It was amazing!
Ella enjoyed getting massages, especially with a kitten tucked into her arms.
Look far out into the paddy field
There was a gorgeous little shrine
Pig feast on our last night. Oink Oink!
