The typhoon never really happened. It was upgraded to a stage 3 for high winds. We got some rain, but that's about it. No gail force winds or flying patio furniture (not that we have a patio)
Hopefully next time we will see more action!

Am I right that typhons are on a scale from 1 to 10? And Hurricanes go from 1 to 5. So When I told Shannon that the typhon was a class 3 she freaked!
The typhoon system goes up to 10. When the warnings hit an 8 people get to go home from work!
