Movie for you to see

I reccommend all of you to rent the South African movie Tsotsi.
It really shows the crime and the divide between the have and have-nots.
It is scary but I thought it was really good.
Beware, it is sutitled!

"This electrifying, highly adrenalised drama of a teenage township thug teetering on the edge of redemption exploded onto the scene at last year’s Edinburgh Film Festival, took the audience award there and in Toronto, and is now the winner of the foreign-language Oscar. Orphaned by AIDS, utterly desensitised to violence, Tsotsi (the charismatic Presley Chweneyagae) has become a cruel predator, running on instinct and reflex. But one night a particular killing – and its aftermath, a bitter dispute with his friends in a bar – seems to stir something in him, the memory of a life before this one...“Touched by the kind of dynamism that also marked City of God, Tsotsi brings a fresh energy to familiar themes of crime and redemption. Based on a novel by Athol Fugard, it offers an unflinching portrait of post-apartheid South Africa; the lawless shanty towns and lives bereft of hope... Contemporary reportage is allied to classical storytelling with a central figure who could have strayed straight from the mean streets of a punchy, post-War film noir... When he starts to acknowledge the humanity of others, we connect to the struggle within him until the film’s finale becomes emotional, edge-of-the-seat high drama. Filming entirely on location, Hood avoids the obvious approach of gritty, guerrilla-style film-making to create a film with a polished cinematic sweep and a sense of eerie beauty lurking in the most unexpected places.” — Allan Hunter, Screen Daily"
